Town West Realty

 

Town West Realty, Inc. has been providing commercial real estate investment, brokerage, and real estate project management services in Arizona since its 1980 establishment. As of late, the brokerage and real estate project management services have been transferred to a sister organization, Town West Realty II, Inc, allowing Town West Realty, Inc. to concentrate on real estate investment. The founder of both Town West Realty companies, James G. ("Jim") Horvath, attributes the extraordinary longevity of the Town West Realty companies to in-depth knowledge of the market combined with a long-term vision and a dedication to create fair and value-added conditions for all participants in its projects and the communities surrounding them. The companies'  motto is competence, integrity, and constructive service.

 

In pursuit of these principles, Jim has been able to count on the commitment of a growing list of long-time associates and employees who are family members or, on account of their loyal contributions and personalities, have become part of a familiar and experience-vetted setting. Town West Design Development

 

Founded in 2001 to provide architectural design development and building construction services, Town West Design Development, Inc. ("TWDD") provides full professional project development services, including land acquisition, rezoning, feasibility studies, financing, condominium conversions, architectural design and planning, project management and building construction. TWDD concentrates on build-to-suit for lease or sale projects including office, retail, multi-family residential, medical, and specialty uses.

 

All of its customers' real estate needs can be met under one roof by professionals with the creativity, experience, and vision necessary to provide solutions that are progressive but will also stand the test of time.

 

TWDD seamlessly connects people, ideas, objects, and purposes, and is able to assist you plan your project from its very beginnings, including the selection of appropriate sites. Feasibility studies and other preparatory work help clients determine the best and most profitable use of a property.

 

Licensed to perform architectural and construction services in Arizona through the principal registered architect of the company, Raul Reyes, TWDD is ready to provide award-winning design and the highest quality level of construction services.

James G. ("Jim") Horvath

President, Founder of TWR and TWDD

 

Mr. Horvath attended the University of Arizona and has been an Arizona resident since 1975.  He has been a licensed real estate broker in the state of Arizona since 1978.  In 1980 he founded Town West Realty, Inc. as a commercial real estate investment and brokerage company. Today Town West and its affiliates manage and operate numerous shopping centers, professional and semi-professional office buildings, multi-family residential properties, and hold land for development and investment.  The current portfolio value is in excess of $200MM.  In 2001 Town West Design Development, Inc. was established to provide architectural design, land planning, development and construction services. Town West Design Development has completed the architectural design, construction, and development of numerous properties in the greater Tucson area.

Raul Reyes

Vice President, Principal Architect, Construction Administration TWDD

 

Mr. Reyes has been with Town West Design Development (TWDD) since its inception in 2001.  He serves as Vice President, Architect, and Qualifying Party for the two General Contractor licenses held by TWDD.  Raul is registered with the Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (A.I.A.), the Arizona Society of Architects, and the State of Arizona.  He was won many Local and National design awards and has over 45 years of design and construction experience.

Ron Boros

Vice President and Treasurer of TWR

 

Mr. Boros has been with Town West since 1995.  Mr. Boros served in the Navy, has an auditing background, and is a Non-Practicing Certified Public Accountant, recognized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration, with a Major in Accounting, from the College of Business at Cleveland State University.  He acts as the Controller for the numerous companies associated with Town West, is responsible for all financial aspects of Town West and affiliated partnerships, and helps to oversee Town West.

 

 

 

Kristie Hight

Controller

 

Ms. Hight is a recent addition to the Town West team, joining in 2016. She graduated from Eller College at the University of Arizona with her Bachelors in Accounting, and went on to complete a Masters of Accountancy at the University of Phoenix. Eight years of public accounting experience in both national and local accounting firms developed her extensive expertise in financial preparation and analysis, complex tax preparation, and accounting process improvement. Ms. Hight serves as Controller for Town West and its numerous affiliates, and oversees all financial aspects of the organization.

Tobias ("Toby") Horvath

Mr. Horvath joined the Town West Family in 2010, starting with the Design Development team as an Assistant Superintendent and quickly advancing through the internal ranks.  Mr. Horvath obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado in 2008, and obtained his Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Arizona in 2014. He is a licensed real estate agent since 2010.  He is responsible for acquisitions, leasing, and oversees Town West.

Bryan Eubank

Secretary of TWR

 

Mr. Eubank has been with Town West since 2004, starting with the Design Development team as an Assistant Superintendent, working up to Project Manager and Chief Estimator.  He attended the University of Southern Colorado from 1997-2001, and is currently attending Grand Canyon University to complete his degree in Accounting.  He is responsible for property accounting as well as construction accounting and works with Mr. Boros on the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

Theresa Sutliff has specialized in multifamily housing management since 2002. She began her career in property management as an assistant manager/leasing consultant for a large community. Theresa’s previous management history and organizational skills, excellent customer relationship, creative advertising and her extra efforts to improve the appearance of the apartment community helped achieve very high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction. Her Displaying an ability to quickly adapt to any task given to her, she was quickly. promoted to Assistant Vice President of the Multifamily Division in 2004. Her responsibilities included assisting property managers whenever needed and completing necessary office functions such as verifying weekly reports. In early 2008 Theresa ventured into the advertising side of the industry only to return to the management side in late 2008 as the manager for Park Place Apartments.

Theresa was born and raised in Tucson and knows the community very well. She enjoys the challenges presented to her in this field and continuously strives to present innovative and positive solutions to these challenges.

She currently holds an Arizona Real Estate License.

 

 

Debbie Horvath

Property Manager

 

Debbie is a Licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Arizona.  She currently manages 14 commercial properties which include retail shopping centers, medical plazas, vacant land, and residential. The challenges that she encounters on a regular basis is the very reason she loves her career.  She is devoted to fulfilling her Tenant’s needs, with the objective of granting them the opportunity to focus solely on their businesses.

 

Debbie brings to Town West Realty over 40 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer service and administration.  Through her high achievements she has earned awards and many trips to exotic places. She loves the arts and has volunteered for Tucson Symphony and Ballet Tucson.  In her leisure, she loves gardening, cooking and golf.

Jeff attended Northland Pioneer College and Pima Community College between 1994 and 2001.  He has worked in construction for over 20 years, utilizing his many talents and knowledge to maintain and repair approximately 11 commercial properties, including retail, medical and some residential.  Jeff began working for Town West Design Development in February of 2001 as a Superintendent, overseeing tenant improvements and ground up medical buildings, before working for Town West Realty.

 

His respected ability to problem solve, think creatively, and assess and evaluate matters or concerns that arise on a daily basis, makes him an integral member of our staff.  Jeff also brings tremendous added value to staff, tenants and management due to his historical recall of projects, improvements, events, and any mechanical or maintenance challenges that have occurred.

 

On Jeff’s free time, he restores old cars, enjoys most outdoor activities and spending time with his wife of 18 years with his children by their side.

 

Martin Janello

General Counsel

 

Mr. Janello is on his second stint with Town West, dating back to 2002, as In-House Counsel for Town West and its affiliates.  He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arizona.  Besides Town West, Martin has served as in-house senior counsel for a NYSE traded lender and as General Counsel for one the largest real estate developers in Arizona.
